If You Let a Kid Create

If you let a kid create…

You just might witness ordinary items…

Sugar Baby Ingredients

Turn into an extraordinary creation before your very eyes (This was a Home Economics project where students had to create and care for a “baby” for an entire week)

(she used the cuter pink outfit, and I used the leftover green one for the “ingredient” picture above)

Sugar Baby

Looks just like her, don’t ya think?  Well… maybe not exactly.

Jasmine and Sugar Baby

If you let a kid create… something wild and fuzzy may come to life.  (This is another Home Ec. project that she made from a pattern)

Green monster

Have an old pair of socks lying around?  Boring…

Socks

But give her a chance and she’ll turn them into toe tickling fun!

(no pattern, no school project, just pure initiative, imagination and good old fashioned inspiration! And some pretty good sewing skills too)

PS:  Do you think sock monkey is up to an adventure with Flat Tony?

Thanks Sudharsana. In school each student had to take a picture with their “baby” – all the kids looked so cute. Even the boys in the class got into it.
